You might scoff at the idea of natural and biodegradable graffiti. Well UK designer Anna Garforth is here to take you by surprise with ‘Mossenger’ – living, breathing, sustainable art. How? Simply take a common moss that thrives on brick walls, mix it up with a quote from poet Eleanor Stevens, carve the moss, glue the moss to a wall (preferably a pretty wall and do so with a mixture of biodegradable ingredients of course) and there you have planet friendly graffiti with a purpose. Best of all, the moss will grow and spread and the words will literally spread themselves across the wall until maybe cities are engulfed with the words of the poets. How lovely.
